Primary photographer

The primary photographer gets all the traditional shots, as well as the formal portraits between the ceremony and the reception.

Secondary photographer

Sometimes, couples enjoy having a second photographer on hand for the day. Since the primary event photographer has to focus on certain areas at certain times of the ceremony, there’s a lot going on that he or she HAS to miss. It’s impossible, for example, for a single photographer to focus on the mother of the bride’s tears when her back is to the photographer as the bride is being marched down the aisle. A secondary photographer can be at the opposite angle, allowing your day to be captured even more vividly. Secondary photographers can get more creative than the primary photographer because there are fewer demands on their attention.

Pets

I do volunteer photography for the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue organization, and I have a dog who's one of my favorite subjects, so I work with animals quite a bit. Let me spend a couple of hours with your dog or cat and I’ll capture some priceless photos for you. We can do shoots on location in your home (the most natural) or in a studio setting—your choice.
